The orange tree is a medium-sized tree, four to six metres high, with a rounded crown and regular branches. The cultivation of this species is an important part of the economy of many countries. It is found in regions with a temperate and humid climate. In Spain it is cultivated mainly in the south of Catalonia, Valencia, Andalusia and the Region of Murcia.
The flowering of the orange tree begins in March and can last until May in less warm climates. It will smell like 'azahar' that's how we call in Spain orange blossom.
