The leaves of this alocasia are wavy, lanceolate in shape and grow from a strong green stem. The Elephant ear plant is native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia and is a strong, elegant and a vintage style houseplant.

The Alocasia portodora doesn't like a place in direct sunlight. Put it in a spot with enough daylight, because dark corners are not a good fit for the Elephant ears. The best temperature for this plant is around 20 degrees all days. It may be watered regularly, but does't like 'wet feet'.
