This Ficus is commonly named Fiddleleaf Fig or Ficus Lyrata. The plant is native from the Himalayas to Malaysia, Sumatra and even Java. It is a broadleaf evergreen shrub or tree that may grow to 50-100' tall in its native habitat. We found this fig of 50 centimeters tall in a Dutch nursery specialized in figs and we bring it to you in Spain to create a nice atmosphere at home.

This fig is 50 centimetres high and comes from the 'Vivercid' nurseries in Valencia region. The pattern of the veins in the leaves make this one a super interesting houseplant.

care tips
Do not water this plant too often. As soon as the soil starts to dry out again, give it more water. The ficus lyrata likes a sunny spot with filtered light. If there is a lack of sunlight, the leaves will grow with long stems. Repotting is recommended every 2 to 3 years.
