The Fig tree, or Ficus Carica, is a beautiful tree from the Mediterranean and forms part of the mulberry tree family. Its leaves have a rich smell, they are beautiful and feel soft. Ficus Carica is a deciduous tree/shrub. During the autumn and winter months, the plant is shipped without leaves to its final destination.

We selected this Fig tree at a nursery called 'Vivercid' in the region of Valencia in the Mediterranea.
colour plant: green leaves (during spring and summer) and green/brown figs (fruit) in late summer. In autumn and winter, the leaves fall off and turn a pale colour with spots.
