care tips
The Strelitzias are plants that need a lot of light, they can even be put in full sun if they are introduced little by little to it. During the winter, place them in the sunniest window with artificial light as a supplement.
When it grows outdoors it needs to be in areas where the temperature does not fall below 5ºC. For the temperature to flourish it must be above 12ºC. Once they are settled, they can survive with a shortage of water, especially during the winter, although in summer it will be necessary to provide them with water regularly and in depth. We recommend to remove the yellowish or brown leaves and cut the flower when it's passed.

care tips
Strelitzias need plenty of light and can even be grown in full sun once they have been gradually acclimatised to direct sunlight. During the winter, place your Strelitzia reginae near the sunniest window possible so that it receives plenty of natural light.
When grown outdoors, the Strelitzia reginae should be kept in a location where temperatures do not fall below 5ºC. For flowering, temperatures need to remain above 12ºC. Once established, Strelitzias can tolerate periods of limited watering, particularly during winter. In summer, however, they need regular and thorough watering.
To keep your Bird of Paradise plant looking healthy and attractive, remove yellow or brown leaves as they appear. Once a flower has finished, you can also cut the spent flower to keep the plant looking tidy and encourage it to focus its energy on new growth.
