calathea sanderiana
Calathea Sanderiana is a beautiful houseplant from the Marantaceae family. Its dark green leaves are decorated with striking pink stripes, making it a real eye-catcher. Its distinctive foliage adds a lovely splash of colour and character to any room.
Calatheas have another special feature: their leaves move with the day-and-night cycle. They open in the morning to catch the light and gently fold up again as evening falls. A fascinating plant that will bring a touch of life and colour to your home!
Because it shares the exact same common name as Goeppertia sanderiana in the houseplant industry, it is also sometimes called the Femme Fatale Plant due to its striking, dark contrast and dramatic pink stripes.

care tips
For this Calathea it's important that the soil is a bit humid. Check the humidity of the soil every five days and give some water if needed. The Calathea likes a lot of light but doesn't want a place in the full sun. The ideal temperature is between 15 and 23 degrees.
