care tips

The Mother-in-law's tongue is one of the strongest houseplants we know. Your Sansevierano will need a lot of sun to grow, so it is an ideal indoor plant to have in rooms where not much light reaches. If you put it in a place with direct light or in the sun, its leaves will turn a lighter green colour. It does not need much water either, in fact it is the only thing that does not usually hold: excess water. They survive excess heat and the dry season quite well.

The Sansevieria does not grow very fast and therefore needs little nutrition. Only a small dose of fertilizer or liquid manure during the spring or summer is sufficient. Approximately 1/4 of what is indicated on the package. Be careful, don't overdo it, if you give it too much the soil will become too acidic and this can damage the roots.

health

In addition to bringing colour and joy to your home during the day, the sanseviera is able to transform carbon dioxide into oxygen at night. This plant reduces the chances of eye irritation and decreases respiratory problems.
