I'm the Philodendron New Red and I am 70 centimetres tall. I am a red variety of the species Philodendron Erubescens. I belong to the Araceae family. My brothers in the rainforests of South America and the Caribbean usually grow much taller. I'm an attractive plant and I love to climb. My stems are thin and wine red, my supporting leaves are also red and finally my leaves are green and super shiny.

care tips
Put me in a semi-shade spot or in a place where the sun's rays do not hit my beautiful leaves. The perfect temperature for me is 18 to 22 °C and I don't like temperatures below 15 °C at all. Avoid draughts at all times. Please try to keep my habitat a bit moist, water me with lukewarm water once a week. My roots like the potting soil not to dry out completely. Oh yes, spray water once a week on my big leaves, so that I feel like I am in my natural habitat.
