areca palm care
This houseplant does not tolerate direct sunlight for long periods, so it is best placed in bright, filtered light. Ideally, position your Areca Palm near a north- or east-facing window, or several metres away from south- or west-facing windows to protect the leaves from strong direct sunlight.
The Areca Palm prefers a stable environment and does not respond well to significant fluctuations in temperature. During spring and summer, water it regularly with lukewarm water, allowing the top of the soil to dry slightly between waterings. During winter, reduce the frequency of watering and always check the moisture of the soil before watering again. Avoid both allowing the soil to dry out completely and keeping it constantly wet.
