care tips
Caladiums requires its care, but with a little discipline you can enjoy it for years. The caladium has special leaves, thin and large and sensitive. It likes warmth but can't stand direct sunlight, so place it in a bright spot but beware of direct sunlight. Avoid drafts or dry places, such as those too close to heating.
The Caladium Sizzle Bush should be kept well watered and the soil should be moist at all times. It requires plenty of light, but filtered, morning sunlight would be ideal, but beware of hot direct sunlight. It is very common for caladiums to go dormant and gradually die back to tubers. In this case, I like to pull the tubers out of the ground and store them over winter in a dry, dark place. This way, you will end up with a lot of offspring that you can plant next spring.
